VR Medical Training Platform
Modernizing medical training through VR technology with React and GraphQL
2021 - 2022
PrecisionOS
Project Overview
PrecisionOS is a leading VR medical training platform that provides immersive surgical training experiences. I was brought in to modernize their dashboard infrastructure and create robust APIs for their VR headset ecosystem.
The Challenge
The existing dashboard was built with legacy JQuery code that was becoming difficult to maintain and scale. The team needed a modern, component-based architecture that could support their growing VR platform and provide seamless communication between VR headsets and the central system.
My Role
As the lead frontend developer, I was responsible for the complete migration from JQuery to React, implementing GraphQL APIs, and creating a comprehensive component library using Storybook.
